A Weekend Retreat for Young Adults Who Are Grieving

2019 Dates TBD

About YAGR

A weekend retreat for young adults (1-4 summers post-high school graduation) to embrace the triumphs and challenges of young adulthood with their peers, while developing lasting friendships, leadership skills, and coping strategies for the next stages of their grief and lives. Also, s’mores.

By invitation only. Applications due by March 31, 2018.

YAGR is a collaboration between Experience Camps and Actively Moving Forward (AMF), a HealGrief program. Experience Camps provides one-week summer camp programs to grieving children. AMF connects and empowers grieving college students. Together, we are able to offer a weekend that combines all of the best elements of summer camp with an experience for young adults that establishes meaningful connections and understanding to support their transition from adolescence to adulthood, with all of the complexities that this time in their lives entails.
